Homestay Program in Italy

Description:
CCI's Homestay Program focuses exclusively on the short-term homestay experience. Participants gain special insight into the host country's society through experiencing daily life, customs and values. Welcoming host families provide room and board and friendship for one to four weeks. Participants will be received as a member of the family and will be involved in the daily activities of that family. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the host community independently.

Complete cultural immersion through the homestay experience. Great opportunity to practice conversational skills!

Center for Cultural Interchange's Mission Statement: Founded in 1985, the Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding, academic development and world peace. Based in Chicago, Illinois, CCI organizes cultural exchange programs for participants of all ages, including high school abroad, independent homestay, internship, language study, eco-tours and volunteer programs in over thirty countries around the world.
