You will never be able to forget your time spent there, visiting the colorful local market in Yuan Yang and enjoying the Hani and Yi Ethnic minority people, their warm hearts humbling one to realize that life can be so simple. If you are lucky, you can even watch some minority dancing of how they farm, how the spring arrives in their rice terraces, how they harvest and even how the lovers interact? Day 1: Arrive Kunming. Arrival in Kunming then transfer to your hotel. Stroll around the ancient town, According to the time availability and your interests, visit Bamboo temple, Greenlake, Western Hills or Golden Temple. Day 2: Kunming - Stone Forest Jianshui In the morning drive to Jianshui. On the way you will stop at the Stone Forest. After visiting this extraordinary sight, you will continue driving to Jianshui and stay overnight in the Zhu Family Garden, a fantastic traditional Chinese residence. Day 3: Jianshui old town After breakfast, you can walk around Jianshui, famous for its ancient buildings, see gorgeous wood carvings, the old towns water well, the gate of the old town, and the Confucius temple, which will explain the history of Jianshui. At night stay in the Zhang Family garden, a beautiful old Chinese building. Day 4: Jianshui to Yuan yang. Drive to Yuan Yang, see the incredible view of the rice terraces at sunset in Laohuzui, and spend one night in the village there or in town Day 5: Yuan Yang. Enjoy the Duoyishu sunrise on the rice terraces and visit the local market. Also depending on the day of your visit, attend a local Yi and Hani market, and visit the Hani and Yi minority villages. Day 6: Trek to a Hani minority village visits a Hani minority family, enjoy their farming life, and stay in the guesthouse or home stay in Shengcun village. Day 7: Yuan Yang to Hekouthe border between Vietnam then on to Sapa. After crossing the border, drive to Sapa, Check in to your Sapa hotel and stroll around at your leisure. Day 8: In the Morning explore Sapa village and the local markets. In the afternoon, excursion to the villages of Ta Van and La Chai for 2-3 hours trekking trough Zay and Hmong minorities villages. In the evening, transfer to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Day 9: Hanoi-Halong Bay On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to Halong Bay. Boarding at 12h30 on a traditional junk for a memorable cruise in Halong Bay. You can stop to visit natural caves and bathe in the turquoise sea. Lunch and dinner is served on board the boat. Day 10: Halong Bay Hanoi Breakfast at 7am. Discover many islands and caves in Halong Bay. Return to the Shores at noon. Return to Hanoi in the afternoon; visit Goal Thap Pagoda on the way. Walk in Hanoi Old Quarter, visit the Literature Temple or the ethnography museum. Enjoy a Water Puppet Show in the evening. Day 11: Hanoi Freely explore Hanoi, visiting which temples you choose, before your transfer to the Hanoi international airport for your return flight.
