Volunteering, Tourism and Internship Programs in Ghana

Durations of Program: 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks and 9-12 weeks

Description: What Volunteer Africa has is, we travel around Ghana with a hired bus, lodge in hotels where appropriate and tour attraction centres.

Again, our high school programme is available to groups of students who would like to volunteer and tour around Ghana

Our internship programmes vary from art to architecture, kente weaving, journalism through to law. Opportunities avail in all these areas for our distinguished interns.

Volunteering, Tourism and Internship Programs in Ghana

Highlights:
* Adventure Travel Programme
This programme takes a week of volunteer work and a week of travel around Ghana. Volunteers choose a project of their choice for the first week.

* High School
This programme is basically for groups of high school students who want to travel and volunteer as a group and tour Ghana as well. they are dispatched to various project sites and brought together to tour in their last week.

* Internship
Learn a trade or feel the practicals in your profession by volunteering in a hospital, law firm, crafts shops with artists or journalism. Interns are given the opportunity to have a feel of what goes on in their field of training.

* Volunteer Programme
Volunteers could either assist in an orphanage, teach English in a school, health work, HIV/AIDS or Sports to help develop other people. This project is usually from a month to 3 months. However, a group may decide to go in for mini-venture which can last 2 weeks.

Qualifications: Our programmes do not require qualifications except our health project which requires the hands of practicing students or practitioners.
