Description: KCDC is an Israeli modern dance company which performs the repertoire of Rami Be'er in more than 40 countries. The Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company started as an extension of the Regional Western Galilee Dance Group by Yehudit Arnon who founded and directed the company until 1996. Over the years, the KCDC developed into one of Israel's prominent dance companies and has gained international renown. The KCDC pioneered in introducing children to the magic world of modern dance with its special program for schools, presenting Beers highly popular childrens works. At present, these works are widely performed by the KCDC-2, founded in 1994.

The KCDC dancers live and dance in the "Dance Village" of Kibbutz Ga'aton. Aside from the dance company, the Dance Village hosts a 5 month dance program for dancers from all over the world who wish to study dance abroad.

The Dance Village at Kibbutz Gaaton will offer a unique facility devoted to movement and dance. As part of its activity, events, meetings, conferences and festivals on a broad spectrum of dance-related topics will be held in the Village.

The aim of the Village is to promote dance in Israel, with an emphasis on fostering excellence and creating a center for the international dance community. The Village further aims to foster unique artistic creation, bring together Jewish youth worldwide and form a bond between the Galilees various ethnic groups through movement and dance.

Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC) hosts an exciting 5 month comprehensive dance program. We offer you an unparalleled opportunity to discover life as an artist and experience Israel.
You will be part of an intensive training from the KCDC repertoire, experiencing the way of life as a professional dancer in a dance company.Side by side, step by step becoming a unified group.

The dance program offers you classes of modern, ballet, pilatis, work shops of other successful dance companies in Israel and the unique opportunity to learn and perform repertoire from the KCDC. The teachers are all highly professional and from the first line of teachers in Israel.
We welcome you to join the colorful and world wide known Israeli dance scene.

As well as advancing your self as a dancer, the program will open a window for you, introducing Israel. From Hebrew classes, Tours around Israel, Community volunteering, Israel studies and more. Housed in the "Galilee dance village" campus in northern Israel.
The program is open to all dancers around the world.
