Art in Zanzibar Volunteering and Internships

Highlights: The highlights of the Zanzibar program are the possibility to combine holiday and help. Art in Zanzibar and its sister organization Art in Ethiopia are able to arrange combined programs to volunteer at different destinations during the same travel. We provide low cost safari and adventure programs and we have large staff with expatriate team leaders to help the participant at any problems.

The program allows the participant to get accustomed to the common Tanzanian people with their problems and wishes. One will learn what is the real development aid, how it is planned, monitored and implemented. And we do it all self sustainably without any grants and aids.

Qualifications: We have no specific qualification requirements. Younger and less experienced participants are placed in easy going projects as in nursery schools, orphanages etc. and more qualified visitors to more demanding projects. We are also intensively tailoring projects for the participants.

Our basic age limit is 18 years but we can take younger people in with a guardian. Also, families with kids are welcome.
