Cost involved in the Volta Eco-tour is 600 USD, it must however be stated that this tour packages is centered on the rich and interesting landscape of the Volta Region of Ghana and the number of days spent on this tour is 7 days. * 24 days in house country tour of Ghana This package is thoroughly packed and fun filled because it takes its participant through all the regions and landscape of Ghana and the cost involve is a 1500 USD. It must however be noted that we at DSG also provide custom tour packages depending on the choice of tourist and all cost include accommodation.

* Airport Pick Up: Upon arrival, our in country coordinator and a staff will be at the Airport to pick you up. Please do not forget to send us your flight information and we guarantee, you will never miss us at the airport. * Orientation: Orientation about the local culture, history, safety, religious, and other issues relating to the country. * Accommodation: You will be staying with a host family, within a rented house or a hostel and volunteer will stay either in a single or shared room. All our families are middle-class and live in safe neighborhoods. The distance from the project varies. The family will provide three meals a day. * Compensation: The program fee also covers compensation for local families and hosts who supply accommodation and food for each volunteer. Staying with a host family will allow you to truly be immersed in the local culture. * Food: In most cases your meals are cooked and provided for you by your host family. You will be getting 3 Meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) Traditional but very nutritious. If you're a vegetarian or have any allergies, this is taken into account when we arrange your placement. * Safety: Your well being while volunteering with us is our priority. We make sure your trip is safe and our in-country coordinator will provide whatever support you may need at any step along the way.

Dream Shelter Ghana's Mission Statement: Dream Shelter Ghana (Ghana) seeks to eradicate poverty and gender inequality, by initiating various community development programs aimed at alleviating poverty levels in selected underprivileged communities irrespective of sex and religion, but more into girl child education.
Agricultural production is literally under threat, that is why at Dream Shelter Ghana, we seek improvement in the agricultural sector as one of its main strategy in empowering the rural folk aside from education.
Also apart from agric projects dream shelter also provides volunteer opportunities in other areas of interest to the volunteer ranging from teaching to fashion and football coaching. It must however be noted that dream shelter volunteer program is also aimed at students abroad who would want to enrich their resume with overseas work experience.
