ProAves aims to help and contribute to the recovering of ecosystems of bird's species under threat in Colombia. By working together in zones of influence of our programs, you can help in different ways to improve the use of natural resources such us Tree nursery, Reforestation and Ecological easements! Make a difference... The supporter of conservation action volunteer will help out with planting, obtaining seeds and taking care of native plants. The volunteer will support reforestation in different areas of the reserve and work with local communities. Other activities include the maintenance of paths, recycle bins, hummingbird feeders, roads, ecolodges and gardens.

Qualifications:
For this position you do not need to have specific experience or studies. You just need to be passionate and committed to conservation and nature in general. Simple life, outdoors activities and healthy food will make this experience unique. Ecovolunteers should be older than 18 years old.

As an Ecovolunteer you are able to support a project in two different ways: by working and by paying. Depending on the project, you have to be available for at least four weeks. The length of your stay, your previous education and your experience will determine the kind of work that you do.What is included in the fee? * Assistance before, during and after your trip: information about the program, destination, vaccinations, visas and references. * Supervising during your staying at the placement * Professional and research experience on field * 24 hour-a-day assistance, 7 days a week in Colombia, to make sure you receive the best quality and service. * Food and staying at the project * Materials, equipment and transportation for research operations * Participation certificate
