Description: Day 1: Windhoek - Enjoy this attractive capital set against a backdrop of majestic mountains.

Day 2: Ghanzi - The oldest known hunter-gatherer society, the San Bushmen have made the vast, inhospitable Ghanzi region their home for centuries. Learn how these remarkable people live and spend the night in the desert sleeping under a canopy of stars.

Days 3-4: Okavango Delta - Accompanied by local guides, explore the watery wilderness of the Okavango Delta on foot and in a dugout canoe. A seasonal habitat for many birds and animals including hippos, hyenas, antelope and eagles, the delta is the perfect introduction to the African bush. Appreciate the tranquillity of the delta at night on a houseboat amid a carpet of water lilies.

Days 5-6: Caprivi Strip - Marvel at ancient rock paintings on a guided walk before heading to Ngepi Camp. Soak up the serenity of this beautiful area and try to spot iconic animals from the lodge' front deck.

Day 7: Chobe National Park - Prepare for the ultimate game-viewing experience in the Chobe National Park. Thick forests and marshes that are home to nearly all of Africa's major species including the largest elephant population on the continent - it truly is safari heaven. Later, look out for crocs on a relaxing river cruise.

Days 8-9: Livingstone/ Victoria Falls - Perhaps set off on an optional open vehicle game drive through Chobe National Park. For even more game-spotting opportunities, take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi. Spend time at roaring Victoria Falls and, for something different, view them from an optional scenic flight.
