Moz Volunteers's Mission Statement: Moz Volunteers is a small, family run organisation, based in South Africa but operational in Mozambique. We run volunteer projects based at Zavora Del Sol, Zavora Beach, Mozambique. Zavora is an idyllic section of the Mozambiquan coastline, located between Inharrime and Inhambane. There is a great deal of poverty in the area, and the programmes we provide aim to confront the needs of the local people, and through ecotourism help to provide basic necessities for the local community, such as well-digging for fresh water and schoolroom/teacher provision.
Further, it will provide you with the opportunity to visit Africa, on a pre-organised working holiday, with our friendly, fun and experienced staff: Alex Plowright and Scott Getkate, whilst staying in quality accommodation overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Join one of MozVolunteers community projects, and see your impact on local, poverty-stricken communities, whilst enjoying your time spent in one of the best coastal spots of Africa.
