Description: Volcanoes, beaches, rainforests - Costa Rica has it all, but its people are in such need. Work with children in the Cartago orphanage, help with building/maintenance projects, clinic work, or use sports as a way to uplift & connect with area residents. Available for groups of 10+.

San Jose Community Work

Highlights:
* Specialized Program: Medical
The goal of this program is to provide medical care to the poor & needy who do not have access to trained professionals through mobile clinics. Anyone trained as a physician, dentist, nurse, hygienist, dental or medical assistant, or pharmacist is desperately needed.

* Specialized Program: Sports
Our staff of college coaches, All-American athletes, professional players, & Hall-of-Fame coaches as well as major league players works with your group to change the lives of those less fortunate. Choose from basketball to soccer, volleyball to baseball, & everything in between.

* Optional Add-ons:
Vulcan Irazu (Irazu Volcano)- Hike along an inactive volcano! Enjoy the native wildlife & the unbelievable view!

* White Water Rafting - Enjoy the exciting ride down the Class III rapids of the Pacuare River. The trip includes a full breakfast & lunch buffet.

* Rainforest Zipline Tour - Experience the natural beauty of the Costa Rica ecosystem during this unique & exciting descent down the mountain.

* San Jose Day Tour - With just over 2 million people, San Jose has something different to offer around every street corner - from local shops & restaurants, to street performers & amazing architecture.
