Volcano experience + Sea turtle conservation in Costa Rica
Costa Rica
- North Western Region:
Arenal
Description:
What do sea turtles and steaming hot lava have in common? Nothing really&except that on this three week adventure, with any luck, you will get to see both in action! You will use your first couple weeks in Costa Rica enjoying the beautiful beaches while helping to protect the endangered sea turtle population. You may even get to see a full grown sea turtle emerge from the sea to lay its eggs on the shore. Next you are off to La Fortuna to relax, take a dip in the natural hot springs and hike around the base of Arenal volcano. At night you may just see the red hot glow of the lava as it trickles down from the volcanos peak.
