Our German Homestay and Discovery Tour Berlin program offers students the opportunity to experience the German way of life and also allow them to discover the beautiful city of Berlin. Students will spend the first days of their stay in Berlin discovering the city with other participants and a chaperone. Students will then be welcomed by their host families (Berlin area) and go to the local high school during the day. The homestay and high school integration is a good way to test and prepare a student to apply for a longer academic program. Nacels short-term program offers students opportunities to experience life in Germany. Students are welcomed by our host families as members of the family. Students learn thanks to the constant immersion in the German language. They wont be able to speak their mother language, and will see that their German language skills will improve quickly and efficiently. Age: 13 to 18 years old. Requirements - A minimum of one to two year of German language study - Participants must show that they are mature enough to participate in the program that requires: - Interest in learning about the German culture - Deep desire to integrate a different family and share actively their everyday life - Enthusiasm for improving language communication skills - Willingness to make new friends - An open and flexible attitude
Highlights:
Before the homestay, participants will arrive in Berlin. Accompanied by a chaperone, they will visit the beautiful city of Berlin. They will be accommodated in a youth hostel on a half board basis. They will visit Berlin City, Museums (Story of Berlin, German historical museum, Film museum), get a guided tour of Berlin and Potsdam. Tickets for transportation in Berlin included.
