Description:
This hop on hop off pass travels from Auckland to Christchurch and includes two of the world's best train journeys. From Picton to Christrchurch the train passes between the Southern Alps and the Pacific Ocean, a stunning view. From Christchurch to Greymouth you travel on the TranzAlpine, passing lakes, mountains, stunning plains and rare wildlife before rejoining your excellent driver and the bus once more. Choose from a wide range of accommodation, enjoy the commentary and local knowledge from the excellent driver guide, and make some great mates along the way.
Highlights:
New Zealand is a beautiful and very diverse country. It is clean, green and friendly. You can walk on glaciers, cruise in remote fiords, see geysers and bubbling mud, hike on the side of active volcanoes, spot yellow eyed penguins or swim with the seals and dolphins.
