Description: Jungle Tours operates out of Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, Australia. For the adventurous budget traveler, Jungle Tours specialize in both 1 day and extended tours visiting the World Heritage areas of Cape Tribulation and the Daintree - where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the reef.

Small groups travel with their informative guides on air-conditioned buses. Tours can include Port Douglas, The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary, cruising on the Daintree River searching for crocodiles and wildlife, swimming in the Mossman Gorge and exploring Cape Tribulation Beach.

On extended tours, various levels of accommodation are offered, from backpacker dorms to deluxe resorts, with plenty of options to party and play. Activities vary from reef trips with Rum Runner, to horseriding, jungle surfing, and sea kayaking.

Highlights: Visitors on extended tours staying overnight in Cape Tribulation can also include optional activities for party and play, including:

Full Day Reef Trip on Rum Runner Cape Tribulation

Rum Runner Dive & SailLeave the crowds behind as you step off the pristine sands of Cape Tribulation and set sail for the Great Barrier Reef on Rum Runner. Travel time to the reed is just over an hour, giving you around 5 hours to explore the magnificent Mackay and/or Undine Reefs. (Additional $5 return transfer for accommodation between Noah Beach and Cow Bay.)

Half Day with Cape Trib Horse Rides

Cape Trib Horse RidesThe only horse riding available in the Cape Tribulation and Daintree area, they cater for beginners, intermediate and experienced riders on a group of very friendly and well trained horses. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery Cape Tribulation scenery as you meander your way through the oldest living rainforest in the world, ride through many crystal clear mountain streams, through cane paddocks and along crocodile inhabited riverbeds until you reach the spectacular Cape Tribulation Beach.

Cape Trib Jungle Surfing

Cape Trib Jungle SurfingJungle Surfing is a unique rainforest tour where your feet don't touch the ground. Fly through the trees on ziplines, with a bird's eye view into the canopy and out to the reef. Resident scientists educate and entertain as they guide you safely from platform to platform. Jungle surfing is the adventure activity for all ages and the flight choice is yours - slow, fast, or upside down.All equipment provided, hull body harness and helmet. Bring nothing but your camera. Please wear shorts or long pants (no skirts or dresses and comfortable enclosed footwear.

Other activities include sea kayaking, mountain bike riding, bush walking and hiking, guided spotlight night walks, crocodile cruises, or yoga.

Prices: Prices listed are per person in Australian Dollars and are valid until 31 March 2009.

Fuel Levy: All tours require a $5 fuel levy, which is payable on board at departure.

Tours offer a combination of The Rainforest Habitat, a Daintree River cruise, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation Beach.
