Description: Have you ever wanted to live like a grand duke or duchess? Then camp Buldern is for you! In the picturesque town of Buldern in Westfalen, you will experience a summer camp like no other in a real German castle. We are so proud of the fact that for more than sixteen years we have had successful Easter and summer camps in a truly enchanting place.

The opportunity to learn languages is definitely a possibility here. You will meet other campers from all over the world. Half of all of the campers come from continents other than just Europe. Can you imagine sharing a room with a camper from Brazil, Mexico or the United States?

This location has everything a camper could dream of. For example Buldern offers super gear for loads of trend sports, high tech equipment for computer geeks, incredible day trips to one of Germany's greatest amusement parks and a beautiful setting with a park to help enjoy many of the leisure time activities. With an incredible amount of activity options, an international feel, and living like royalty, a camper is sure to have the time of their life at Camp Buldern!

Highlights: What does a Multi-Activity Program really mean? It means, that at camp Buldern you will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of different activities and programs every day. You just have to wake up and meet at our meeting point. Our staff will present to you all of the activities we offer you that day and then the best part is you decide what you want to do. This allows you to live spontaneously at camp. Everyday you have the opportunity to try something new or stick with what you like...you decide!

The athlete will enjoy baseball, basketball, volleyball or putting on their in-line skates to enjoy our very own skate hall. We also offer special activities such as archery, or building your own boomerang. Maybe you would enjoy a more creative activity with our airbrush pistol or surfing the internet in our computer room. There are always a number of activities to choose from...just pick one and we guarantee you will enjoy your time!

* Polish up your German and English skills

One of our main aims at Schloss Buldern is the provision of educational holidays for international students wishing to combine German or English as a foreign language with tons of fun activities. It's easy...just sign up! The classes can be booked as an add-on to the daily "multi-activity" program. With classes between 6 and 12 students, everyone is sure to get the personal attention they deserve to truly help learn a new language.

Our teachers are native speakers and come from Germany, England and the USA. We promise you they will make learning a language fun! Not only will you practice your skills in class, but also outside of class. Our campers come from all over the world. Ana (12) from Mexico spent her summer with us along with Renato (10) from Brazil, Jose (12) from the United States, Jannatullah (12) from Egypt, Jorge (14) from Spain, and Cenigzhan (8) from Turkey. In any given summer, there is the opportunity to meet campers from Sweden, Portugal, Venezuela, Russia, Canada or France.

All language students will be awarded with a certificate at the end of their time at camp, showing they successfully completed 15 hours of a German or English course.

Camps International's Mission Statement: Established in 1984, CAMPS imported the idea of summer camps from its country of origin, the U.S. Twenty years later we run various holiday camps in countries such as Germany, England, France, Canada, Croatia and Switzerland. Our greatest hope is to provide holidays and language learning experiences to campers from all over the world, and of course at the same time make it an experience of a lifetime! We are convinced that both children from abroad and German kids gain a lot from living together and learning about different cultures, languages and lifestyles. As well we have a high school programs, where we send German kids to 14 different countries on 5 continents (USA, Canada, Brasil, Argentina, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Danmark and Finland.) They can go to school and live with a host family from 3 months up to a year.
