Eco Surf Volunteers combines a full-service exotic Surf Camp with Eco-Volunteer & Community Service Programs for beginning to experienced surfers to create one of the worlds most unique adventure surf experiences. Eco Surf Volunteers exclusive international surf/volunteer programs are limited to the 32 best-qualified applicants. Ideal for students and recent graduates interested in a full-service exotic surf trip with teaching, conservation, and community-volunteer opportunities. Selected applicants stay in beachfront cabins located on a private cove with a left-hand point break only steps from your front porch. Each immaculate cabin has it's own bathroom, hot & cold water shower, and electricity. Restaurant/bar on site provides three fresh cooked meals/day. (Beginning Experienced Surfers) Accepted applicants receive the complete ESV surf package: - Round-trip airfare, accompanied by ESV staff - Beachfront accommodation - 3 meals/day, drinks, snacks, & unlimited bottled water - Daily premium SUV transportation to local surf spots (no public transport or stuffy 10 passenger vans) - Eco-volunteer/cultural immersion programs - Daily Spanish immersion discussion groups - Boat trip to Machalilla National Park - Snorkeling trip to Salango Island - Twice daily surf instruction (4:1 student/instructor ratio) - Tropical surf wax, wax comb, rash guard, hat, & t-shirt - Local cell phone & international calling card - Certified First Aid & CPR supervision

Let Eco Surf Volunteers help you explore Ecuador's empty beaches and coastal surf. Have a snorkel with tropical fish, a hike through a National Park, or simply grab a hammock and an afternoon siesta! Eco Surf Volunteers surf & volunteer programs are each an exclusive adventure surf experience that combines a full-service exotic surf camp with eco-volunteer & community service programs for beginning to experienced surfers. Arriving in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Eco Surf Volunteers premium SUV's transport you and your friends comfortably to your beachfront accommodations. Arriving at your cottage, it'll be up to you whether to grab your board and immediately hit the left-hand point break just outside your room, opt for some surf instruction, explore the beach and jungle surrounding the area, or simply relax with a drink in a hammock under the palms. From this point on, you and your friends call the shots as twice every day Eco Surf Volunteers premium SUV's led by our professional staff head out exploring other hidden world-class surf spots including the right-hand point breaks of Montanita and La Entrada, the peaky beach breaks of Las Tunas and Ayampe, and the left-hand point break of San Mateo. At each break you'll have the option to receive more surf instruction and chat it up in the water with ESV surf professionals. A couple of hours each afternoon are designated for participation in Eco-Volunteer/Community Service Programs. Organized to promote local awareness of the areas natural resources, contributing to this effort is a great way to make a positive impact on the global community while creating a richer all-around travel experience. Volunteer projects include teaching, conservation, and community-volunteer opportunities, all in the ultimate Spanish immersion environment. Eco Surf Volunteer participants also have the option to join day trips, as groups head out on boats to snorkel Isla de Salanga and hike Isla de la Plata in the Machalilla National Park. Participation on these day trips is free and optional. - A typical day at this ESV camp will look something like this! - 6:00-7:30 - Dawn Patrol - 7:30-8:00 - Breakfast - 8:15-12:00 - Morning Surf Session - 12:00-1:00 - Lunch - 1:30-3:30 - Volunteer - 4:15-7:00 - Evening Surf Session - 7:00-8:00 - Dinner & Spanish Immersion Discussion - 8:00-whenever - Surf Films & Free Time
Qualifications:
Facilitating Spanish and cultural immersion opportunities while making a positive impact on our global community is just one more reason why Eco Surf Volunteers creates the most exotic surfing experience for young surfers! By collaborating with local volunteer programs, every ESV volunteer enjoys a richer all-around surf/travel experience. ESV volunteer participants work in a local Tropical Wild Life Sanctuary surrounded by a beach, botanical gardens, and organic plantations. Volunteer projects include sustainable agriculture, wood and bamboo carpentry, teaching at the local Eco-Kids Club, and work in the butterfly vivarium.
