Description: Dharma Tropical Farms Hawaii is a certified Organic Farm, a place to learn tropical, organic, farming methods, specializing in the healing Noni plant. You can also learn about soil improvement in the tropics, native plants, vegetarianism, and Bhakti Yoga. Our friends at a neighboring farm provides free hatha yoga classes at the local college and at their farm a couple miles from us, which volunteers are welcome to attend. Farm duties include mulching weeding and harvesting noni fruit and other tropical fruits, as well as maintaining your personal cabin area and the common kitchen/garden area. Cabins are very simple and rustic but the farm is beautiful and provides an awsome view of the pacific ocean. We require 20 hrs a week farm labor to stay on the farm. On sundays Allan gives surf lessons to interested volunteers and sometimes goes to the local hot ponds (natural volcanic heated saltwater pond) for a relaxing soak after work.
