This intensive course is designed for beginners to digital photography to establish a solid foundation in the photographic process. The course integrates the fundamental principles of digital photography with practical studio applications. In the studio and on location, students will work with real models to produce portraits and photographs of the human figure. In the lab, students will gain an introductory level of Photoshop and learn how to efficiently edit photographs.

* Applied Fundamentals of Digital Photography (Certificate Course)-

This course is designed to reinforce the fundamental principles of digital photography through studio experience. The students will improve their skills by examining the photographic process in detail. Students will advance their knowledge through in studio and on location work with real models. In the lab, students will deepen their knowledge of Photoshop capabilities by learning how to edit their photographs for a variety of effects and corrections.

* Photoshop 1, Essentials of Image Correction (Workshop)-

This course is created for photographers that want to begin acquiring skills in Photoshop. Techniques and concepts that are necessary for most basic digital photograph editing will be covered. Students will learn to use the Photoshop interface and tools by editing their own photographs. This course includes in studio time for the purpose of creating photographs for editing, however photographic techniques are not a focus of this class.

* Photoshop 2, Advanced Image Enhancement (Workshop)-

Students should have a basic working knowledge of Photoshop before taking this workshop. Photoshop 2 briefly reviews photoshop basics and quickly moves into advanced image correction techniques. The focus is on editing, correcting problem photographs, and filter enhancements to achieve a variety of styles.

* The Chroma key Process (Certificate Course)-

Chroma key is a popular image manipulation technique used to selectively replace elements of a photographic image with image information from another image. This course will combine studio photography, on location photography, and lab work to give the student a mastery of Chroma key and the capabilities it offers.

* Portraiture 1, Light and Calibration (Certificate Course)-

This course covers the fundamentals of portraiture technique. The core lessons emphasize light calibration in a variety of studio and on location environments. The student will work with models to produce portraits under studio and ambient lighting conditions. The student will also gain familiarity with the equipment needed for this type of work.

This course begins where Portraiture 1 finishes. The lessons develops the students control of complex lighting schemes. There is an emphasis on the students' ability to create final product photographs in the style that the student would like to achieve.
