Description:
Join this unique GVI course in Patagonia for the opportunity to conquer the challenge of the volcano Tronador. With a peak at 3,478 meters high, reaching the snow-capped summit is a true challenge in just seven days. To enable your safe assent you will be introduced to basic mountaineering skills including crampon and ice axe usage, crevasses rescue and rope travel. You will use these skills during your Tronador ascent, where you will traverse some amazing glaciers and snow fields on your way to the top. Experience the varied landscapes of Patagonia which few people ever get to see. In favorable conditions you enjoy unforgettable views of the Patagonian Andes from the summit of this amazing peak.
