Description: Spend a weekend on this basic essentials survival course and learn from the experts, how to survive in the wilderness. Get practical hands-on training about the human essentials for wilderness survival. The course is based in the mountain forests of the Brecon Beacons, Wales (UK). Its unpredictable climates and challenging terrains make it an ideal place to prepare you for your future adventures in more remote regions.

The human body and mind have a unique ability to cope with challenging and arduous conditions, and it is to this end that the UK Survival School has developed courses and expeditions. This course is structured to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to overcome such conditions and, ultimately, discover a world of adventure!

Highlights:
* Learn how to utilize natural resources
* Create/find shelter, fire, water and food
* Make cordage for snares and fish lines from plants
* Make fishing hooks from wild shrubs
* Learn about animal tracks and signs
* Make fire with fungi
* Spend the night sleeping in the forest
* Construct a shelter using only what nature has provided
* Learn to plan and prepare a safe outdoor adventure of your own
