Description:
A 3 week adventure trip with short term mission work and community projects. This focuses on the Transkei (Wild Coast) which was overlooked during the apartheid era. Remote villages, rolling hills, poor infrastructure, bad roads and subsistence farming characterize the region. The people that inhabit the area are predominately Xhosa. Projects range from erecting mud houses for church meetings, speaking into schools, gardening, and assisting the elderly. We travel on a modified overland truck. Check the website for more details.

No qualifications required, all you need to have is a relationship with Jesus Christ and you want to love and serve people in rural Africa.

Cross Country Overland Missions is a Christian based organization. We do require our participants to be of the same faith. Our volunteers will be involved in religious proselytizing.
