This tour provides an introduction to volunteer and humanitarian work in Cambodia. The tour provides travellers with the opportunity to see the sites this magnificant country has to offer but it also takes you off the beaten track to visit and work with and visit a variety of humanitarian projects.
Highlights:
* Assisting with classes in one of the poorest communities in Phnom Penh. * Working with a team of dedicated volunteers in the south of Cambodia and assisting in a variety of volunteer activies which may include rural housing programs, agriculture and community development projects. * Working with a team of Buddhist monks in central Cambodia assisting in community and teaching support programs. * Visiting and distributing supplies to a variety of humanitarian projects throughout the tour including disability centres, schools and orphanages where tour participants get to talk with local staff to get a picture of what volunteering is all about and where they are best suited to work if they return for long-term volunteer projects.
