Join CCUSA and our Mexican partner, Ventur Pipiol, as you take on the opportunity to travel through some of Mexico's most extraordinary places, getting to know both the people and the culture. The volunteer programs are unpaid in monetary terms. However, you will gain immeasurable valuable skills to last a lifetime, great friends from across the world, hands-on education, environmental, and career experience for your resume, and the knowledge that you made a global difference. There are FIVE different Program Options to choose from, running between 4 and 22 weeks in length. * "Alternare" challenges you to work with local farmers on this Monarch Butterfly Reserve to create ecological alternatives, implement new agro-ecological techniques, and organize local activities. * "Tradiciones- Ninteotl Traditional Medicine" live within a community as it was 100 years ago, work with the elders to learn their spiritual and traditional ways,restore artifacts and make a lasting difference by building Medicine House,the foundation for this important cultural center. * "Tuxtlas- Helping to build Ecotourism"- Based inside a Biosphere in Mexico's only surviving Jungle, help bring ecotourism to the area and to curb the problem of deforestation in this rain forest. You are an essential ingredient to social change by educating tourists and helping local farmers build eco-infrastructure. * "Ensenare- Teach in Mexico" This program is focused on youth and gaining hands on classroom experience in rural community schools in Mexico.Teaching English to students age 6-15 in traditional Mexican communities. * "Aventura- Volunteer & Adventure in Mexico"- This five week program includes 2 weeks volunteering at Tuxtlas Biosphere above, plus a 3 week adventure excursion throughout the most beautiful and untouched places in Mexico. Scuba dive, swim, raft, hike, and see the best of Mexico!

Qualifications:
Volunteers must be High School graduates, age 18 or older. All Volunteers must have a strong deisire to experience and become immersed in Mexican Culture in the program option they choose.

Cost Include Description:
- Intensive 5 to 10 day Spanish course in the Hacienda, depending on the length of your program. - Training and assistance necessary to complete a successful project. - New skills, experiences, and friendships to last a liftetime - Housing throughout the entire program - Pocket Money for meals (50 pesos per day) - Transportation to the Orientation and to the Pproject - Continuous support supervision and tutoring. Excellent in-country back up - Materials required for all Volunteer projects. - Travel Insurance for the duration of your stay on the program, as well as the ability to extend coverage if you choose to travel beyond the program dates - A donation on your behalf to the community where your project is focused - Option to participate in Adventure expedition and combine program options
Salary / Pay: 50 pesos per day food voucher or equivalent, as well as transportation to your project and donation on your behalf to the Volunteer Project.
