Our Chalets Our three 4-star self-catering chalets: * The luxurious thatched chalets provide you with stunning views into the valley and mountains of the Waterberg. * The interior of our chalets provide you with a true African atmosphere that insures peace and tranquillity. * All our chalets are fully equipped with linen, towels, microwave, gas stove&oven, Toaster, kettle, Satellite-TV, Hi-Fi, offering you a 4-star service with tea/coffee facility, toiletries, hair-dryer and candles. * Outside, each chalet has it own Braai [Barbeque], garden furniture and sun lounges. * The chalets gets serviced twice a day at a time convenient to you. * We have a 2 - 8 Sleeper and two 2 - 4 Sleeper chalets.
Highlights:
Birdwatchers will be able to see many difference species such as Verraux Eagle, Kingfishers, Hornbills, Kites, Fisheagle, Paradise Flycatcher, Spotted Eagle Owls, Burchells Coucal, Weaver's, Sunbird [4 different species], African Drake etc. Over a 100 different species has been recorded here at Bambelela with its stream Groot Nylsoog River and Vlei. The unspoiled bushveld offers a variety of fauna and flora. Antelopes such as Kudu, Bushbuck, Duiker, Klipspringer, Mountain Reedbuck, Nyalas, Common Reedbuck, Red Hartebeest, Eland, Steenbok and more. Zebra, Porcupine, Bushpigs, Serval Cat, Warthogs, Civet, Mongooses, Lesser Bushbaby, Baboons and Vervet Monkeys and so much more can be seen here. The climate is dry and comfortable. The summer months [September to April] are very warm. The average rainfall is +/- 550mm/year. The rainy season is in summer. Bela Bela [Warmbaths] is known as the "Sunshine Town" and locally very popular in the winter months, May to August, because of its mild winters. Any time of year is a very good time to spend your "time-off" here. We guarantee you a quite and unique experience of an African Bushveld-Farm, non-commercial and in midst of nature.

Application Process Involves:
Bambelela Wildlife Care & Guest Farm's Mission Statement: We are a self-funding and non-profit Wildlife Farm in the North of South Africa in the Limpopo Province. We care for orphaned and injured wild African animals and has established a Vervet Monkey sanctuary. We also nurse and hand-raise mammals and primates with the aim to rehabilitate them back into the wild. We are offering Volunteer programs and the possibility to study and attend FGASA preparation classes in order to become a qualified and registered Field Guide/Ranger joining our dedicated Team at Bambelela Wildlife Care Farm.
