Description:
Intern will be responsible for hosting guests at our bed and breakfast and making sure that they are comfortable and taking guests on adventures in the area, and help develop our eco/tourism program. This internship involves learning all of the local adventure opportunities in the beautiful Federal Environment Protection Zone of the Meseta de Cacaxtla. Intern will be taking people on adventures in the area including hiking, biking and kayaking. Intern will also gain a working knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area, especially the local and migratory bird species inhabiting the extensive estuaries and wet lands in the area. This internship is 40 hours per week, including some cleaning and maintenance of the facility and grounds, when there are no guests present. Room and board are provided.

Qualifications:
Applicant must have a working knowledge of both English and Spanish and be physically fit, and be able to make a three month commitment. Candidates must be patient, outgoing, love showing people new adventures, be good swimmer and have some experience using a sea kayak and a mountain bike. Candidate must be self motivated and trustworthy. *Note: La Rosa is located one hour north of Mazatlan, Mexico in an isolated area. Thus, all contact with applicants need to be through the internet or via cell phone.
