Description:
Watch Discovery Channel? Ever dreamt of discovering wildlife for real? This is your chance to discover the wildlife in a Thai national park with 6 of Southeast Asia's big 7 - wild elephants, gaurs (gigantic buffaloes), tigers, tapirs, bears and leopards including the black panther. Come for a 7-day Ranger Training in a national park by the Burmese border and an hour from the sea. Make a camp in the jungle, attend ranger training lectures, learn how to survive in the jungle, drink water from trees, go trekking observing the local wildlife and flora. Wake at sunrise to the sound of wild elephants or great hornbill birds! Trek wild elephants on foot, sit through the night in a tree platform. These are the kind of activities that you can expect to have on this trip: a truly extraordinary survival and ranger training experience! Training for those truly interested in wildlife and nature, it is a also a perfect but different team training opportunity. Each day allows for hours of time spent in the jungle learning to interpret the sounds and sights of nature. A rare opportunity not only to experience the jungle but to learn about and respect nature around you and to learn about yourself too, how you handle these close encounters with nature. The training is hands on and will allow you to meet Southeast Asian wildlife in pristine natural surroundings. You will sleep out in the jungle, learn tracking and other skills. For anyone interested in the outdoor life, wildlife and nature conservation this is an opportunity not to be missed.
