Description: Do something different - make a difference: Spend a week in Nepal, seeing the highlights of mystical Kathmandu and helping on local community projects in the village of Nuwakot. Next, join us for the journey of a lifetime, crossing the Himalaya by aeroplane, where you will fly past Everest en-route to the ancient Tibetan capital of Lhasa. Finally, return to Kathmandu in a 4WD adventure across the arid Tibetan plateau, surrounded by some of the world's highest peaks and most impressive scenery. Cross some of the world's highest passes (reaching heights of 5200m), view huge glaciers at close quarters, cross the arid Tibetan plateau, and view the snowy summits of peaks which climb to 7500m! Stay in Tibet's second largest city, Shigatse, and visit vibrant markets, thriving monasteries, ancient forts and colourful Tibetan villages.

Qualifications: No requirements, specific skills, education or certifications are necessary to book - just a desire to do something different and make a difference.

Only people permitted to work with children unsupervised in the UK (and who can supply the relevant paperwork to prove this) will be permitted to work unsupervised with children on our projects - and then at the discretion of those who run the projects.
