Dates: All year round. Starting Saturdays.

Description: Join a team of volunteers from all over the world in undertaking conservation projects in the stunning city of Auckland, New Zealand! Each team is led by an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader who is trained in the safe management of volunteer projects.

Volunteers will have the chance to work on several different conservation sites and participate in an assortment of projects. Particular projects vary according to seasonal conditions and conservation priorities, and project placement is not determined by volunteer preferences. Examples of possible projects include tree planting and coastal restoration in and around the urban area, track maintenance, pest plant removal, endangered flora and fauna surveys, and habitat restoration.

Volunteers should be prepared to live and work as a member of a team, including sharing accommodations and helping with domestic chores. Although good health and a positive attitude are essential, volunteers do not need any prior skills or experience. We will provide all necessary training.
