7 day 'World Tour of Ireland'
Ireland
Dates: All year round
Description:
Look no further, you have just found the best possible way to see Ireland. A whole week to explore, relax, absorb, refresh and learn about this fascinating and beautiful island. We have combined all the best elements of our 3, 4, and 5 day tours, added a pinch of salt and created an Irish experience that is worth flying round the world for. First we head down to the South West to Cork and Kerry and the three peninsulas of Beara, Iveragh (The Ring of Kerry) and Dingle. Then we will take you across the River Shannon into County Clare with the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher before heading north through Clare into Galway and the wild Connemara region. You will see a huge proportion of Ireland's best scenery (just ask any Irish person). As usual the trip is Vagabond's unique mixture of outdoor activity, great scenery, relaxing pubs and loads of laughs. Seven days means that you are never rushed but you will see so much that you may think you have been travelling for weeks.

Cost in US$: E979
Cost Include Description:
The price includes your accommodation and breakfasts, other meals you simply pay for at the time. Lunches tend to be a mixture of picnics, BBQ's and pub lunches and then in the evening we normally head to a good pub or restaurant for our meal. It is easily possible to eat well for E25pp per day. Each tour is packed with great scenery, fresh air and outdoor activity, local culture and loads of laughs. We stay away from the coach parks of the main historical sites and head for areas that mortal tours simply cannot reach, lots of time is spent on the beaches, going for walks, heading across to islands etc - it is spectacularly good. Additional activities like surfing (E25-30 per 2 hour session), horse-riding (E25 per hour) and sea kayaking (from E15 per hour) are also possible, but even without these additional activities the tours are brilliant!

Vagabond - Award Winning 4x4 Adventure Tours of Ireland's Mission Statement: This is the perfect holiday for those who are looking for something different and want to fully experience Ireland.
Instead of buses or minibuses we use 4X4 Land-Rovers, so our group sizes are smaller and more flexible and we can explore areas far beyond the reach of mortal tours
You will leave the road behind and drive along beaches, into the mountains or across to Islands. Walk in the mountains, surf in the Atlantic, ride a horse or play golf. Clamber over ancient ruins, learn about pirate queens, retrace the steps of pilgrims or search for your ancestors.
And at the end of the day, a roaring fire, some music, great food and a pint.
Got any better ideas?
