Description: African Adventure - Educational and Volunteer Trails. We arrange African Work Experience packages and Adventure Trails for students throughout southern Africa. Prices are standard for set packages and kept as low as possible, although on tailor-made trips we can work out itineraries according to the student's budget.

We offer volunteer experiences, safari opportunity through our wild areas, the opportunity to learn from and work with local professionals in the respective fields of study around which each trip is based. In most cases we will try to arrange certification from the places of work/study to ensure proof of experience gained during participation in that activity. Where possible, we will arrange credits to be awarded through a recognised university in South Africa.

We offer these trips as an opportunity for students to travel, experience a foreign country, to gain some experience in their respective field of study, and most of all, to have a holiday! Trips that are on offer include these fields of study and many more: wildlife management, forestry, marine biology, botany, ecology, archeology, veterinary medicine, human medicine, ecotourism, anthropology, history, and many more.

For example, our wildlife management trip can be made up of 3 to 4 weeks of travelling around wildlife areas, spending time in certain spots, and attending lectures by rangers, wildlife vets, conservationists etc. Courses will also be attended, such as a game capture course over a few days and the opportunity to participate in a game capture in the African bush. Accommodation and transport will be included at all times, there will be occasions where students are to arrange their own meals (only when specified).

The trips work on a group-booking basis - usually we require a certain group size to take the trip out. However, trips can be arranged for individuals and smaller groups - this may have an effect on the price, depending on the activities and accommodation and transport type required/preferred by the student.

Highlights:
* Hands-on experience in the respective fields of study!
* The opportunity to experience African wildlife and culture up close!
* Affordable holiday abroad while still gaining experience in your field of study!
* Each program has its own highlights, such as game capture in the conservation and wildlife based programs, visiting World Heritage archaeological sites throughout southern Africa on an archaeological program, or surfing, scuba diving and cage shark diving for those in marine biology or just plain adrenalin junkies!
* If any interest is shown, we will be starting trips that include a predetermined amount of time during which the student will be involved in some of sport coaching position at a facility that offers this opportunity to underprivileged children.
