Description:
Camp UK - Summer Placement / Gap Year Summer Camp UK Helping children to become involved in activities. You will meet like-minded people from all backgrounds and many walks of life and make friendships that will remain with you forever. You will learn new skills and abilities, build your confidence and discover a great deal about yourself. A lot of the time is spent outdoors which is blissful in the summer but can be a bit more refreshing especially if you are at the top of a climbing tower. You will need to be fit and resilient and ready for a challenge. Gap Year UK Our activity centres are made up of enthusiastic and dedicated individuals aged 18-24 who are looking for a gap year programme. We train you in a number of National Governing Body awards in specific areas such as Climbing, Fencing and Lifesaving. This is combined with a Modern Apprenticeship where candidates achieve key skills as well as NVQ qualifications in Activity Leadership. We provide free food and accomodation and a free UK mobile phone, we even offer free laundry. Your training will enble you to supervise younger people wishing to take part in out door sports and subject to your sucessful completion, work permits etc. we may be able to offer you a full time post at the end of your year.

Qualifications:
You need to be aged 18+. You will need to provide evidence of a clean criminal background. This must be an official document from the Police department or government. We will also need two references, one from a professional person, eg a college or school tutor and one from a recent employer or volunteer placement.
