Description: Resource Mobilisation

We have great opportunities for International Volunteers/Interns/Field Researchers. We need volunteers to work on our current Resource Mobilisation for Number of local CBOs/NGO/MFIs. The number of people needed and times will vary depending on volunteer's abilitiies and capacities. We welcome any assistance from people with a wide variety of backgrounds/experience.

The activities indicated here, being promotion and participation in preparations for also low key International Volunteer Day in December and beyond every year, aimed at creating cross border synergies to address cross cutting issues. We are seeking volunteers to assist with a drive to plant and equip Volunteer Centres/Focal Points being a first phase of a Community Partnership Cooperation & Development Centre (CPCDC) development, that is: targeting volunteer development workers. Also by so doing, we aim at creation of cross border synergies to address management and administration of key volunteering cross cutting issues shown below.

Scope of Activities/Responsibilities

Source a Rotary Water well drill rig- aiming at safe water sources, environment and sanitation (WES) to reduce women and girl child workload reduction.

Development of Loaning Scheme or Village Banking to boost Safe Neighbourhood Community Foundation, Budaka District, and then also in Scaling Up for Sironko Township, Uganda, that is bringing services nearer to the people and now embarking on training and developing a Economic Empowerment Project Assistance loan and credit scheme -or Rural microenterprises development. This is an entry point for poverty relief and development.

For the Future to contribute to take off of a Community Partners` Cooperation & Development Centre (CPCDC) to promote participation of:

Support to Project assistance Volunteers to help plant Volunteer Focal Points/Resource Centres/ Community Development volunteers in fields of Adult Education to target Micro Enterprise Development, safe water and sanitation (WES), being involved in supporting health issues especially People Living With or/and Affected by HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), focusing on volunteers as change agents and help plant Community Information Centres (CIC) across the region.

Qualifications: This call is being especially made to you if you have the following qualifications:

Specialist
* Academic credentials (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Technical award). In certain circumstances/trades, substantial practical experience may substitute;
* Several years of relevant working experience following qualification, preferably five or more;
* Minimum 25 years old;

Field Workers
* Basic education: secondary school certificate, BAC or equivalent;
* Technical skills: professional/trade with related diploma and experience;
* Skills in community development;
* 2 years of minimum relevant experience;
* Minimum 21 years old
