Learn to Scuba Dive in Cape Town

Dates: Full time 1-week courses are available all year.

Description: Become an internationally recognised diver and add an amazing experience to your stay in Cape Town! You can take the full-time 5-day PADI Open Water Diver Course as a standalone course or add it to your volunteering project.

A warm welcome can be relied upon at arguably Cape Town's premier dive centre open all week to sport and technical divers. Dive Action pride themselves on teaching quality courses, set above minimum standards, which enables you to become a good diver - diving safely and having more fun in the water.

Dive Action has a professional all year round diver training school with a modern and well-equipped lecture facility. Their retail outlet sells all major brands of snorkel and scuba gear and plenty of useful gadgets and popular dive wear is stocked.

Join Dive Action in the finest waters the Cape has to offer and experience pure fun and excitement aboard their dive boat "Action Diver" always operated by professionals who live for the sport!

Please Note:
If you are volunteering with the Home of Hope, Baphumelele, Masigcine or Penguin projects, you can even book a part-time course while you are here. Simply talk to your volunteer co-ordinator at AVIVA House and she will be happy to arrange everything for you. The part time course will be scheduled to fit in with your free time and may include some evening theory classes.

Learn to Scuba Dive in Cape Town

    Cost Include Description:
    Your PADI Open Water Diver Course includes:

    * 6-night accommodation at AVIVA House (either in Observatory or Table View)
    * Self-service continental breakfasts.
    * Transfers to and from Dive Action.
    * 5 confined water sessions at the swimming pool.
    * 5 lecture modules.
    * A minimum of 4 qualifying dives plus a boat dive!
    * Use of all snorkel and scuba gear.
    * Use of school training materials for lectures.
    * Your own PADI crew pack including a manual and dive tables.
    * Your own logbook and presentation folder with course notes.
    * A certification card.
    * Lifelong membership with PADI giving you access to dive anywhere in the world.

    NB. A special discount is available to students in Dive Actions dive shop.
    You do not need to pack any special equipment for this course, just bring yourself!

    This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European and Kiwi Participants.
