Description:
This 12-day program is designed for groups of college and high school students interested in the environmental sciences. Excursions led by experienced biologists include the Smithsonian's Barro Colorado Island and Punta Galeta Laboratory, an Embera and Kuna villages, historical points of interest such as the Fort San Lorenzo ruins on the Atlantic Coast, reef marine ecosystems in San Blas, and much more. Customized field study trips can be arranged upon request.
