Description:
Determined by each student's interests, internships usually range from professional work to community and humanitarian projects to arts, music or philosophical understudy. The extensive variety of internships available allows students to explore new interests and to pursue academic or career resources. Students have a range of internship possibilities, including Yoga, Ayurvedic, Traditional Chinese and Tibetan Medicine, various dance forms from India and Tibet, Metal Working, Art History and Architecture, Ecology and Preservation, Geology, Disadvantaged Youth, and Development, and many more. There are many opportunities to learn and to give through your experiences in India and Nepal. If you have a special area of interest in which you would like to learn, let us know and we can try to arrange a mentor for you. Availability of teachers varies from semester to semester.

Cost Include Description:
The program fee covers: Orientation/Close of Program Session; Coordinators time facilitating the participant's personal experience; Home stay (three meals a day and lodging;) Language course; Excursions; Airport transfers/transportation. It does not include: Round trip airfare to/from participants home country; Internships; Personal Spending Money for food outside of home stay and other expenses; Visas; Airport tax; Other activities.
