Before coming to South Asia as well as during the program itself, individuals can work closely with Passage staff to design precisely the kind of program they are seeking.

Passage can also design, develop, and facilitate programs for special interest groups in fields such as ecology, photography, the arts and crafts, music, religion, medicinal herbs, adventure travel and much more.

Individuals and couples can customize programs of any length to create a unique holiday experience with experiential learning. For example, the program can revolve around a particular theme such as Himalayan wildlife, Tibetan Buddhism, or South Asian architecture.

Schools who would like to offer their students study abroad programs can use Passage as a resource to help their own teachers develop a program or to create a custom faculty-led program with a prepared curriculum.

Passage can organize excursions for businesses interested in establishing a special tour for their employees. Such programs can provide excellent tools for building staff cohesion, as well as for developing particular skills such as leadership, team-building, and problem-solving. Depending on the specific needs and interests of the group, we can organize programs for you ranging from river-rafting to yoga study.

For non-profit organizations, Passage can arrange programs to develop similar skills as for businesses (described above), such as team-building and problem-solving. Additionally, for organizations dealing with specific social problems, Passage can develop educational tours to enhance the groups knowledge of particular issues such as urban or rural poverty, refugees, international development, ecological conservation, and healthcare.

Naturalists and others interested in environmental issues can join Passage for a customized trip focusing on the specific ecosystems of South Asia, ranging from the tropics of India to the sub-arctic climates of the Himalayas. Depending on the interests of the group, the program can focus on bird-watching, botany, conservation, reforestation, water projects, or eco-tourism.

South Asia is a fertile land for artists of all kinds, and Passage can develop group programs for artists, architects, photographers, sculptors, and jewelry makers to immerse them in particular traditions through short or long-term apprenticeships and coursework.

In recent years, South Asias varied alternative therapies have gained international recognition. Passage can organize retreats for groups interested in strengthening their knowledge and practice of alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, naturopathy, Tibetan medicine, and Ayurvedic medicine.
